    Default Harlingen Freshmen

The Harlingen High School freshmen baseball team is the future of Harlingen. Many talented athletes.

Daniel Ramirez hit a Grand Slam in the Port Isabel tournament on Friday.

This team has four left handed pitchers and three left handed batters.

How did they do against the Edinburg Cougars? The Cougar freshman team hass several good players, some of which have been moved to JV.

I would have to say that the Harlingen Hawks will be the better team from Harlingen this year. The Cards have been a dissapointment for the last 3 years. The Hawks could be fighting for a district title this year against the Bears and Bobcats.

I do not care who beat who? As long as both programs and use the talents wisely and make the state tourney.

Mcallen Memorial freshmen defeated both in the edinburg freshmen tourney earlier this season. Defeated Cards in semis and Hawks in finals in close games. South squandered a big lead. Memorial freshmen have a good class plus they have 1 kid on varsity that was not at that tourney.
