Roma and Donna might throw it off. You never know. That in itself is the beauty of these weeks.

Donna controls their own destiny and have the tie breaker over Palmview since they beat the lobos. Good work tho.
I'm not afraid to think outside the box or put 8 in it.

Looks like 5A Division 2 has the longest row to hoe. Good luck to all the teams.

4A Division 2 could be the easiest playoff games for Valley competition. Not saying they are easy wins just saying from all the divisions should be won by Valley. In that district no team is above .500 for the year and the only undefeated district team is Rock-Port Fulton at 3-0. Before those 3 wins they were 1-4 as this should tell you about the comp in this district.

To be fair to Rockport, their non-district schedule was pretty rough. Even though they lost 4 of those games, they were competitive in all 4 of those non-district losses. IMO, Rockport is tougher than people think. They have Orange Grove this week, who gave Raymondville a scare (42-38 if i recall) a few weeks ago. So we'll see what happens on Friday.

The other potential playoff teams out of 15-4A DII are all pretty evenly matched, so where they finish is still very much in the air.

Also, take a look at the brackets. The top 2 from D16 will both have extremely tough 2nd round games. Cuero or Navarro. The 3rd seed wouldn't have to face a highly ranked opponent until Round 3 assuming they win their playoff games.

Staying away from Cuero and Navarro is highly encouraged.

Permian knocked out half your arsenal. Seems LF was never the same after that game. Bad idea to schedule a team like that.

Los Fresnos had no choice. It was either schedule Odessa Permian, or only play a 9 game schedule.

Good enough to take the 4th spot...but still playing like a last place team...pace and vets aren't that much better either...

30-6a technically have 6 of the 8 teams still in the playoff hunt. These next 2 weeks are going to be extremely exciting.
