This is who we'd face in BiDistrict....

    District 15
    Alice
    CC Calallen
    CC Tuloso-Midway
    Floresville
    Gregory-Portland
    Port Lavaca Calhoun
    San Antonio Southside

Pretty tough, not unbeatable if you ask me...

Team that finishes 1st or 3rd in our district has the best shot at round 3.. 2nd isnt too bad either

PLC is no fun, we don't see that offense... EVER... who knows how to stop a triple option nowadays!?!? GP is good, beatable, Alice is good, also beatable, Calallen lost a lot... But they're always good... Somerset is interesting and Southside can usually run the ball well...

I'm hearing that Chavez was impressed with the teams strength in the weight room, but he needs his linemen to be more agile and mobile... Sharyland should be the favorite, not just because they're my team but because of all the kids that we have coming back from our 9-3 team..

They have taken the last 2 Powerlifting invitationals. Big plus the majority are Sophmores. Also E-E started with Wrestling this year and they have been very impressive. My nephew was saying that Chavez has been emphasizing speed.

Sharyland and Pioneer bring back their QBs but Rattlers should be favored. Rosales for Pioneer should be good as a senior. Can EE beat Mercedes after a long drought? They should be favored but we shall see. Tigers have talent coming up so I believe they can compete with the big boys. Mercedes plays La Feria, Nikki Rowe, Edinburg North, and Edinburg High in non-district. The QB position will be wide open between Pequeno and returning QB Alegria who is fast but shorter than Pequeno. One thing for sure you don't want to come in 4th place and have to face Calallen in bidistrict. Just my two cents worth!

4 yrs is not a long drought. 12 years is what a long drought is.

A drought is when it doesn't rain and it hasn't rained at EE in 4 years. EE will have to travel to Mercedes next year and it won't be easy. Lmka, do you think that EE will have an easy time against Mercedes next year? Does Coach Chavez have to install a new offense or does he run the spread? Will the players acclimate to the new coach or will some of them be disappointed Marichalar left? Give me some facts lmka! Remember, EE vs Mercedes will be early in the season? I believe 1st district game at the Jungle Another factor is injuries and depth. Something to look forward to.

You all have more to worrry about than what E-E will run on Offense. Replacing 18 starter is a heavy monkey to have on your back. E-E will be just fine.
