I hate those kind of speed bumps.
I could agree with you , but then we'd both be wrong.

I didn't realize PI only won two games this year, fans heads must be spinning.

Yep. And of those 2 wins, the combined records of those 2 teams is 1-19. (Progreso 1-9, Hidalgo 0-10) So basically, PI lost to anyone with 2 or more wins.

Sadly, Infante was a compadre system hire. PI's DC was a player for PI during Infante's first year at PI as OC in '97.

I mean, just look at the applicant list for PI. There were several coaches on that list with extensive AD/HFC experience (Tony V., et. al), and even some with D1 college level coaching experience (Strunk). But Infante was the "best man for the job?" Nambe, callate chut up.

And that's why I believe McHi needs to look elsewhere cause they are struggling to beat and losing to La Joya schools,Mission H. .With our weak district all 3 Mcallen schools should be cruising through our oppenants in our district.

Also, you know ______ got real when the HC and DC needed a police escort after the Week 11 loss to West Oso that eliminated PI from playoff contention.

Good question. Actually, a VERY good question. Frankly, many in PI were shocked and disappointed Tony V. didn't get the job at PI. Many of the kids/players were looking forward to playing for him.

How more clear can P.I make it that it's nothing but politics/ compadres pulling the strings .Amazing how they can get away with anything and they still continue to stay in power after election day.Nothing but hot air out of their mouths when they make false promises that community will always come 1st.

Well hopefully things will turn around fast. I doubt the PI community will tolerate very many losing seasons without making some changes.
I could agree with you , but then we'd both be wrong.

It's because people in PI have been made to feel like their opinions don't matter to those in power. Unless you're a compadre/comadre, that is.

    1./2. Mission Vets/Sharyland (interchangeable)
    3. Los Fresnos
    4. McMem
    5. Edinburg Vela
    6. Brownsville Hanna
    7. Weslaco East
    8. Harlingen
    9. Brownsville Vets
    10. PSJA High

32-6A will again be a tough district no matter who's in it.

The competition will be there among themselves but not as tough/ strong like 2017.They could probably lose a couple of games in nondistrict to notice the difference.

But in 2017 32-6A district had very tough teams to beat .

Vela should be the #1 team coming into the 2018 season, mostly everyone is coming back. District champs from 7th grade all the way up to varsity

I’d put San Benito at the top or near.

They lose their two top players, who were transfers by the way. Unless they've had new transfers I don't see them doing as well.

Lol, here comes that one SB poster.

I think they’ll drop off a bit due to what you posted, but I think they still have a good core. I hate to say it, but their up and coming QB is pretty good.
