The 1987 football season The Edinburg Bobcats beat both Harlingen and Mission. They beat Lupe and his high powered offense 41 to 20 in Mission.

Wondering how cardinal fans think the outcome of there non district will look for the following two seasons. Again it is prep for district...personally I think even without the non district schedule 326a is a very tough district. We shall see if the non district schedule pays dividends come playoff time. You guys know my opinion of the matter when it comes facing state title contenders come 3rd round. Hopefully these teams will be able to prove me wrong and advance or at least put up a good fight for four qtrs cause it seems valley squads seem to wear out to the size, speed and strength come 2nd half. Good luck to our valley squads.

Take away all those great players from Primera, take away many w's from the Cards. Talent pool from Primera drying up, Cards struggling.

Didn't one receiver went on to play for Kansas State another for Brigham Young and Lupe, Sam Houston maybe.

Me vale.lol. Cards were due to have a slip up season or two. Now if it goes past three seasons of struggling?? some changes need to be made STAT.

if Galvan is going to be our QB next year he will make a big difference finally a QB that can run if we are still gonna run the spread you have to have a QB that can run look what mission vets QB did to us and SB now it's Ledezma job to figure things out I give him one more year we need improvement on offense and one question is galvan going to be a senior????
    From mr.Selbers

“You play Thanksgiving Week, you are the real deal.” Or some such.

But to play beyond it, after the leftovers are gone and the world returns to work, that is something else. Only the class teams in the state play football in December. And in 2011, that means Harlingen…one of the best teams in the state. The state.

Galvan will be a JR next year so if he can stay healthy, that'll be a huge boost for offense. I like the idea of a dual threat QB for next 2 years

If it's the kid I am thinking of, yes, he plays football. He had some really good times as an 8th grader too.
