    Default Sharyland Rattler Track

Looks like Sharyland Rattler track is back underway with plenty of quality sprinters running for Sharyland. James Cole leads the way back from finishing 5th in the 200m at the UIL Texas State Track Meet. Also returning is Sean Landez who also ran at the state meet... Already the Rattler 4x100m relay is looking pretty decent with a couple of new faces on it. Cole and Landez is holdovers from last season, but new to the 4x100m relay is Marcus Pena and Mauricio Martinez at their practice meet the other day, the new relay team went 43.5 which isn't record breaking by any means, but it is pretty decent for February. Sean Landez went 10.78 and James Cole 10.57 in the 100m during that practice meet...

The Watcher, I'm hoping to hear your input on this ASAP!!!!

Not to bad for start of track season, split might hurt Shary in 4x100 and 4X200, looking forward to seeing 4X400 team understand Cole will run of the legs this year and curious who will run the other two legs since they lost runners to Pioneer and two seniors from last year.

Yup, Alec Garcia was HUGE loss for Sharyland, he was very fast... I don't think Shary will struggle in the 4x100, if Mauricio gets into track shape he's as fast as anyone in the RGV...
